Summary
CounterCode stores the codes you save only on this device. We do not create an account, we do not collect personal information, and the app does not include advertising or tracking.
What stays on your device
CounterCode may store the following locally so the app works offline:
- QR codes you create and save, including the text you enter and style choices
- Your preferred language and appearance settings
This information remains on your device. Uninstalling CounterCode deletes the codes and settings saved here.
What we do not collect
- No account registration
- No analytics or advertising SDKs
- No tracking across apps or websites
- No sale of personal information
Sharing exports
When you share a PNG or SVG, CounterCode uses the system share sheet. The file is sent only to the app or service you choose. Sharing an SVG may also attach a PNG preview so your phone can show the code; both files stay under your control. We do not operate a server that receives those files.
Children
CounterCode is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children. Because the app does not collect personal information, we do not knowingly process children’s data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of CounterCode after an update means you accept the revised policy.
